Stainless Steel

Stainless steel 304/304L

Stainless steel 303
Excellent toughness, but lower corrosion resistance than 304. Ideal for high volumes, due to its excellent machinability.

Alloy / Tool / Mild Steel

4140 Alloy

A low carbon nickel chromium molybdenum alloy steel with good carburized properties.
4340 Alloy
Containing very high nickel and chromium content. Used for heavily stressed parts that must operate under strenuous conditions.
4130 Alloy
Commonly referred to as Chromoly. It has an excellent strength to weight ratio.
A2 Tool Steel
An air-hardening grade of steel that contains 5% chromium. A2 is noted for its good toughness and excellent dimensional stability in heat treatment.
D2 Tool Steel

H13 Tool Steel
